What will truly solve the world’s problems?
Often when people are describing the whole picture in holistic health they speak of the mind, body, and spirit. I think the overall embodiment of those three aspects is the HEART. The heart is the most spoken about organ, why? The heart is the core of our being, truly. I want everyone reading this to take a journey with me deeper into this concept.
The problems of the world today have nothing to do with all of the outside factors, it is mostly because we are not living from our hearts. All of the pain we are inflicting on others and ourselves is because we lack heart based emotions including compassion.
How do we solve this? I have a solution – why don’t we take a different approach. An approach that many people do not place a high importance on, or do and don’t make it a priority: NUTRITION.
The most effective way to fix a problem is to be consistent with the solution; eating is something we do without thought why don’t we restructure our diets and eat in ways that open the heart! And YES food DOES have the power to do this!
I am so crazy about cacao because in a time when science was not around to prove anything and the people used to base a substances power on how it made them feel the ancients titled cacao “The food of the gods,” and “heart blood.” Now that we have something interesting called science and studies this substance has proven itself over and over again to be a healer of the heart and blood. Interesting connection.
