The Wild Chaga Forage!

Chaga the King of Medicinal mushrooms – wondrous magical substance in which we have plenty. This past Thanksgiving weekend we paid our thanks to mother nature and the medicine she provides in abundance.

How many of you are familiar with Chaga mushroom? If you live in North America, Europe, Russia, and Asia you may have spotted it before in the forest and thought it was a black clump on a birch tree, perhaps little did you know this black clump was a VERY powerful medicine capable of healing our bodies in ways never imagined.

Chaga Mushroom is called the “King of Medicinal Mushrooms” and for very good reasons. In nature medicinal mushrooms, turn bare rock into a lush forest. I often translate this into as without so within, whatever a food tends to do in nature is what is will do to you internally.

Research on Chaga mushroom indicates that it provides the following benefits to humans health;

  • Anodyne (soothes pain)
  • Antiallergenic
  • Antibacterial
  • Anticancer

  • Anti-lipid peroxidative (protects fats from oxidation or loss of electrons)

  • Antiparasitic (removes certain types of worms)
  • Antipatelet Aggregative effects (disperses clumped red blood cells)
  • Antitumor
  • Antiviral (flu, herpes, HIV, Hepatitis)
  • Blood purifier
  • Blood sugar balancer
