How Does that picture above make you feel? Have you ever considered your cell-phone as a cancer causing device?
A recent interview I watched with Dr. Mercola and EMF expert Vicki Waren described EMFs as more harmful than cigarette smoke! After doing a bit of research myself, I would have to agree with them. THINK ABOUT THIS – if it requires a certain amount of energy to power a device – imagine what that energy is doing to your body!
The health industry has known about the harsh side effects of EMF’s for over 40 years now and have failed to address their severity on our biological health. It’s time we all receive a bit of enlightenment on this issue and start taking the necessary measures to protect ourselves and our families in order to upgrade your current lifestyle.
So here are the facts; There are 4 kinds of EMF’s effecting us on a daily basis;
- Electric fields – Comes from anything that has voltage or electricity – lamps, extension cords, outlet plugs, wiring in the walls. Can affect the body especially when you are sleeping – brain waves, inter-cell communication, ability of the neurons to fire and to communicate. Problems that can manifest are neurological and behavioral health mostly, but can impact conditions such as cell growth, fibromialga, chronic fatigue, and cancer.
- Magnetic fields – Occurs as a result of an unbalance in the electrical wiring, point source motors, and electrical meters. ex – refrigerator, Meters on the wall, television on the other side of the wall.
- If you live near a power line
- If plumbing was done with metal – as the current carries EMF’s
The worst culprits of EMF’s inside your home are wireless routers and cordless phone base stations. Your cellular phone is a major major culprit as well! How you can protect yourself is very simple;
- Never talk on your iPhone 5 or cellular device by holding it to your head. Use speaker phone for short calls, and a EMF protecting wire headset for major calls.
- Unplug all electronic devices in your room prior to sleep
- Place iPhone or cellular device on “airplane” prior to sleep ( I started doing this and have been sleeping 100X more better than ever before!)
- Sleep in reverse in your bed so that your head is away from the outlets on the wall.
- Turn your circuit breakers off at night (everything around your bed should be battery-powered)
- Stay away from hair dyers! They shouldn’t be used – they are only safe if used within 5 feet of the body – you can’t even reach that long, forget about it! Your hair will thank you for doing so!
- Use laptop computer on a surface – never on your lap!
These are just a few protection strategies I have tried and have noticed a substantial difference with.
